Walton's One Year
11 Case Unit

Jump within page to: Introduction:

Our Eleven Case Year Supply Unit has all the expensive, less weighty items you want in your year supply to make it liveable. The bulky, inexpensive items were intentionally left out. You need to aquire these items locally or get our Deluxe Year Supply which has these items in it. To stay healthy for a year you should aquire the items below or equivelant foods. The foods in the 11 Case Unit are all dehydrated or dry and in this compact form will store well and take up a minimum amount of storage space. This 325 lb 11 case unit requires a storage area of 11 cubic feet (7 feet by 12.5 inches by 18.5 inches).

Notes:

1: Calories are only 1/3-1/2 of what they should be. We recommend you add 270 lbs of wheat and 125 lbs of beans and purchase 4 gallons of cooking oil to augment this package. Doing this will raise your DRV of calories to 3,000. Why oil? See note 2.
2: The DRV says that at least 30% of your calories should come from fat. Dietiticians suggest that for even a low fat diet, at least 20% of your calories should come from fat. Adding 4 gallons of cooking oil to this package, which is not included, will increase your daily calorie intake of fat from 168 to 526 calories per day. With the oils naturally occuring in the foods, this represents 18% of the calories in a 2,900 calorie diet.
3: We recommend you add 270 lbs of wheat and 125 lbs of beans to augment this package. Doing this will raise your DRV of carbohydrates to 120%
4: This is not a problem because your body can make cholesterol.
5: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency bringing the fiber content up to 300% of the DRV.
6: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good mrlti-vitamin/mineral supplement.
7: Sprouting the beans in this package before cooking them satisfies this deficiency.
8: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good mrlti-vitamin/mineral supplement.
9: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
10: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
11: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
12: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
13: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
14: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
15: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
16: Sprouting the beans in this package before cooking them almost satisfies this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
17: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
18: The added wheat and beans more than satisfy this deficiency. Or add a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.
19: If you include that 4 gallons of cooking oil as Sunflower or Canola oil, this will increase the requirement to 524%.
20: For that 4 gallons of cooking oil you need, if you use sunflower or canola cooking oil, it will provide 172% of the estimated daily requirement.
21: There has been no RDA/ DRV established for this nutrient.
